Summer is coming and the beer pong tables are being set up all over Germany! The warm weather awakens the party mood in us and we can hardly wait to finally drink a cool beer and play endless rounds of beer pong. But every now and then it can be another drink, because only beer can get boring in the long run. Anyone who likes other cool drinks besides beer should now prick up their ears. We've made a selection of our favorite summer drinks and divided them into categories. Maybe that's how you'll find your new summer drink?

The liqueur came to Germany in 2010 and is very popular today. However, other combinations are also very high. For example, 43s with passion fruit juice or orange juice. If that's too sour for you, you can stick with the milky classic. The mint julep is an absolute classic among cocktails. Originally from the American Southern States, it spread to the rest of the United States in the early 19th century. Since it is a timeless drink, it is one of the "Contemporary Classics". It consists of fresh mint, bourbon whisky, sugar (syrup) and crushed ice. Also a relatively simple drink, often served in a copper mug. Is such a cocktail suitable for summer drinking games? Maybe not 100%, because it would be a bit of a shame about the noble ingredients. At a cocktail party with friends, however, the mint julep is sure to be a hit.

In the USA, the “White Claw” brand is the absolute market leader when it comes to “Hard Seltzer”. Well, does that tell you what? If not, don't worry. We'll enlighten you.
Hard seltzer is basically sparkling water mixed with alcohol. A flavor is usually added to the drink, such as raspberry or pineapple. Not for nothing is this light refreshment a huge success, which has now also spilled over to Germany.
It couldn't get any more summery here. Hard seltzer are perfect for drinking games as they're just refreshing chilled and very low in calories. However, caution is also required here.
