Follow-up report

The pandemic is once again having a major impact on our everyday lives. Parties are cancelled, the mood is down. But she doesn't have to be! Bring the party into your living room with our beer pong equipment! Whether tables, balls or cups, you will only find the best quality with us! Beer pong is still possible at this special time, with us and without the risk of infection! After the great successes during the first lockdown of this year, we started our second series of social distance tournaments in cooperation with Kiez Beer Pong last Saturday, November 14.11th. The next tournaments will take place on November 21st and 28th at around 18:30 p.m. If you would like to be part of the virtual beer pong at the next event, you can register using this link.

Over 110 teams took part in the first tournament, both pro and fun, and it was a complete success. This success is based not only on the number of participants, but also on the internationality that prevailed at the tournament. Because not only teams from Germany were represented, but also from our neighboring countries, as well as from North America and Asia. In addition, the donations generated by this tournament were able to support gastronomy during this difficult time of lockdown.

The two tournaments began after a short speech by the BeerBaller and the Kiez Beer Pong Bar (feel free to drop by their place) at 19:30pm with the group stage. There were always 5 teams in a group, of which 3 teams could advance. Then the Pros started into the round of XNUMX, while Fun had to go through a round of XNUMX first. The whole thing was streamed continuously on Twitch and commented on by three moderators.
Just like the participants themselves, the mood among the organizers and the commentators was cheerful and motivated for the tournament throughout the evening. And of course towards the end you could also tell some of the participants playing one or two rounds of beer pong, which only added to the generally exuberant atmosphere.
After a few close and less close rounds, the final matches in the pro and fun tournament were set at around 1 a.m. In the final of the fun tournament, the LePavillonPsychos, consisting of Niklas and Markus, and BPB Miss and Mister Gentleman Jack, consisting of Danny and Melina, faced each other. The LePavillonPsychos won this match and therefore qualified for the next tournament in the Pro category.
In the pro tournament, One World One Pong, in turn the Asian representatives from Indonesia (Sang) and Japan (Kenneth), as well as Team Roter Speck, consisting of Nico and Rüdi, faced each other. After an exciting and tight game, the Asian team was able to bring home the win. Nevertheless, their performance remains particularly noteworthy, as their game ended at 6:12 or 8:12 their local time. At this point again big chapeau to the two.
We hope that many teams will register for the next tournament and that it will be a great success for everyone. We look forward to seeing you and see you on Saturday.
