Let's go!
Surely it has happened to one or the other of all of us: The game is in full swing and you have no idea when and how the beer pong cups have to be switched. However, switching is very important, otherwise it will be very difficult for you and your opponents to hit.
We have created a small guide here to bring you a little closer to the conversion rules.
Depending on the rules, the beer pong cups are switched 1-3 times. This process is called “Rerack”. As a player, you have to make sure that the time is right. In addition, the correct formation plays a major role, as it can create strategic advantages.
But how do you decide which cup formation makes sense for you?
It really depends on what type of player you are.
We have created a small overview for you here to explain the best positions for different types of players.
Elongated Formations
If judging distances isn't your thing, then you should choose a more elongated formation with your team. Here, however, it is an advantage if your team is good at throwing straight balls.
If you tend to throw short balls, focus on the last cup. Because otherwise it can happen that you hit a middle cup much too early in the game and then later only have the back ones standing. In addition, the resulting gap can make the game significantly more difficult.
wide formations
Exactly the opposite are wide formations. They are suitable for players who are good at judging distance but have difficulty with straight throws. If the middle cup is hit early in this formation, it is less bad for the course of the game. However, a very asymmetrical shape can arise and make it difficult to hit the last cups.
near formations
Nearby formations are also particularly popular. They are perfect for anyone who is good at short range throwing. They stand in a narrow pyramid shape.
Large-scale formations
Last but not least, there are also forms with a large area. The cups are arranged as rectangular as possible.
If you get distracted easily or are generally not the strongest thrower, then this formation can increase your hit rate!
Well, have you figured out which formation can help you win the next round of beer pong?
