The huge Beer Pong hype is slowly but surely making its way to Germany. While the action-packed game has long since achieved cult status in the US, it has only recently gained notoriety over here. The USA has already declared Beer Pong a tournament sport, while in Europe it is still mostly known as a drinking game for shared flat parties. Fortunately, Germany is now also gripped by the beer pong fever and the community is growing steadily. The alcohol consumption is more and more in the background, while the actual game is in focus. Before Corona turned our lives upside down, the best players met regularly at the German or European championships. This is where the most talented players compete.

Unfortunately, due to the lockdown, the Beer Pong Bundesliga could not take place as usual. Therefore, a new variant was created - the online Beer Pong Bundesliga!

Unfortunately, due to the lockdown, not a single beer pong event could take place. Real shame for all the beer pong fans out there.
But sometimes the best ideas come from unfavorable situations. Completely do without beer pong? That's not an option!
Therefore, the Beer Pong Bundesliga was founded by Patrick Mitschke in the summer of 2020.
Through the online matches, the teams can continue to play and stay in touch with each other. This is how the Beer Pong Bundesliga, despite Corona, gained new attention and increased the ambition of the teams! The 12 best teams from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are currently playing against each other in the Beer Pong Bundesliga.

There are 11 game days with 6 matches for each team. The teams consist of at least 8 players. At the beginning of the season, a ranking from the best to the weakest beer pong player must be submitted.
A game day always extends over the following 14 calendar days. The matches can be played within this time. The matches do not all have to be played at the same time or on the same day. It is only important that the results are entered immediately after the end of the game. But who actually plays in this Bundesliga? In this blog post we introduce you to the beer pong clubs in the Bundesliga.

Not only the best team in the German-speaking area, but also the best players will be determined. The game statistics are collected for each match. Feel free to take a look at these!
The 3 best players of the current season are:
1. Christoph Gigi Vogel from BPC Emmering with 65 wins (win rate: 73,84%) and 3 perfects
2. Robert Florian from BPC Allgäu/Bodensee with 64 wins (win rate: 72,73%)
3. Michael Saller also from BPC Emmering with 60 wins (win rate: 70,59%) and 2 perfects.

The player with the most perfect games was Marcel Hasler from NRW's Most Wanted with an incredible 10 perfects from 66 games (win rate: 75,76%).

We will also be represented in the Bundesliga from next season! In cooperation with the Mighty Ducks, we will set up a team in the first and second Bundesliga and look forward to spreading beer pong as a tournament sport!

The new season is coming... and you can be there too! The Beer Pong Bundesliga only has one league this time. This is where the best players meet.

From next year, however, 3-4 leagues are planned so that hobby teams also have a chance of a well-deserved victory. Be sure to mark December red because that's when the playoffs begin! So if you still want to start as a group: Go for it!

Whether it's a bowling club, graduation crew, sports club or group of friends, you can take part in the play-offs with at least 8 people in the team!
