The tournament process

- Group phase: All participating teams are randomly drawn into groups of 5 at the beginning (if that doesn't quite work out, there could be two more groups of 4 or one group of 6). In the group stage, each team plays each other once. This means that each team has 4 guaranteed matches (except for groups of 4 and 6).
- KO round team selection: After the group phase, the best 3 teams in each group advance. Decisive for the placement are the order:
1. the games won
2. the cup ratio
3. the direct comparison.
4. cup hit
If there are groups in which it is not clear who will advance, a 1-cup overtime will be played between these teams before the KO phase. Please come to the tournament director for this. We provide a referee to oversee these overtime games.
- KO phase: Before the KO phase begins, each team that has advanced must collect a beer token from the tournament director. A simple KO system is then used until the final. There is a game for third place and a final.

The course of the game

- Each team receives 4 beer tokens for the group phase when registering for the tournament. You can use these to collect a 0,5l Erdinger Hell (0,25l per person) for one token each at the game beer counter before each game.
- At the tables you play on water cups.
- If a water cup or balls are missing, you can get new ones at the game beer counter. If there is a problem with the table, please also let us know at the game beer desk.
- As soon as your opponent is there, the game begins. By the way, the house rules & special rules are posted at the entrance to the interior.
- The game is over? Then the winner announces his victory to the tournament director.

Where does the Beer Pong Night XXL take place?
The Beer Pong Night XXL takes place 4 times a year on Saturdays in the Live Music Hall (Lichtstrasse 30, 50825 Cologne).
When does the Beer Pong Night XXL start?
Warm-up and registration is possible from 14.00 p.m. in the Live Music Hall. The first group games start at 15.00 p.m. It is imperative that you report to the tournament management by 15.00:XNUMX p.m. at the latest.
Can I bring friends/fans?
With pleasure - entry is free for all guests and everyone can gamble at the free fun tables.
What are the rules of the game?
It is played according to the party rules (see above) - not according to the Bundesliga rules.
