The cups have a size of very large pin and are made of more stable plastic. They are not indestructible, but very robust.
The rules are very simple: you place the cups in the predetermined positions (from the cards) and be the first to press the buzzer. If the lineup is correct, the card is given to the winner of the round. The one with the most cards wins.
The buzzer requires 2x AAA batteries. These are not included.
What is stupid is that the map image is very small and is only correct in one direction. So those who see the cards upside down are at a disadvantage because they have to rethink first.
What I'm definitely missing is player information on the box sides. The information is on the bottom of the box from the outside, but if the game is on the shelf you first have to take it out to see how many it is for. Rather impractical for game nights, which we always have in different combinations of players.
The age specification here is 16+. I find it completely exaggerated. We played it with our 12-year-old son and I think the six-year-olds are more into it than some adults. That's probably why it says 16+ because it can also be a drinking game. But the alcohol is not included.
We find it an entertaining game that requires a lot of concentration, but also has a great fun factor.
The game was delivered quickly after ordering.
The cups are of high quality (not very thin plastic cups) and everything that is needed for the game was included.
4 of us tried the game. First with beginner cards, then with the expert cards. Even the beginner mode was really fun, but the expert cards caused a lot of laughter. The game leaves a little room for interpretation in which direction the cups have to be placed - open up or down. This added to a lot of amusement as the game progressed??
We played it sober, I'm sure it'll be even funnier with some stuff in it.
The small disadvantages to be mentioned are the room for interpretation when placing the cup and the fact that it is difficult to distinguish between the colors red and pink on the cards even when they are sober. Also, after quickly turning over the cards, you have to be careful that the cards are the right way round (this is indicated by a small logo in the corner). However, these points tend to add to the amusement and make the game even better and more fun.
I and my fellow players give it a clear buy recommendation
I tried Buzz Cups with some friends and we had so much fun! The game is fast-paced and action-packed, making it perfect for a fun party or game night with friends. The waterproof cards are a big plus as there is no need to worry if you spill something.
The rules are easy to understand and the game itself is easy to learn, so even newcomers can get started quickly. It's a great way to break the ice and lighten the mood.
I absolutely recommend Buzz Cups! It's one of the best party games I've ever played! (After Looping Louie of course ??)
I ordered the game for a short trip with friends - I wanted a duel-like change.
The principle of the game is simple, you build up the cups according to a picture and whoever finishes first wins. With us, the loser then has to take a sip.
There is an atmosphere during the game, especially the cheering and gloating makes it exciting again in the group.
The game is robust and of extremely high quality - nevertheless, some of the cards were a bit dirty, even though they are new. No problem, because the cards are washable or even waterproof.
After I've already bought a few games from the Beerballers, this game was also suggested to me.
At first I thought it was another cup game, but it's really something different. Very high quality, so that the cups do not break immediately even with a little more force. Rules can be extended at will to have to drink more or less.
You have to stack/arrange colored cups according to the template and with the correct cup opening at the top. Super fun because the patterns vary a lot. So it doesn't get boring that quickly. Another great thing is that you can play it with many players. I can only recommend it!
